I am the founding president of Académie Zarifa, a non-profit cultural institution created in memory of my mother, Zarifeh Abkar, and inspired by a deep belief in the transformative power of art and culture.

Académie Zarifa was established as a space for artistic creation, cultural dialogue, and international exchange, with cinema at its core. The Academy is driven by the conviction that art can transform profound human experiences into shared meaning and lasting cultural impact.

At Académie Zarifa, I serve as Founding President and Executive Director, guiding the artistic vision and institutional development of the Academy while safeguarding its ethical, cultural, and non-profit values.

I am active in the field of beauty and makeup, with a focus on style and facial aesthetics.

Alongside my work in beauty, I have been involved in filmmaking, working as a producer on one short film and as a director on another short film. The short film I directed was selected as an Official Selection at a film festival in the United Kingdom.

Through these experiences, I have developed a practical understanding of creative processes as well as the organizational aspects of film production.

At Académie Zarifa, I am involved in executive and administrative coordination, contributing to the organization of cultural activities and the financial oversight of the Academy, while ensuring that its artistic, ethical, and non-profit values are respected.

Zoé MAHDAVI - ZARIFA ACADEMY - PARIS

I hold a degree in Interior Design, having completed my studies in the United States. My interest in art, design, and reading has consistently shaped my personal and creative perspective.

With a background in design and a thoughtful approach to aesthetics and spatial creativity, I am interested in cultural and artistic initiatives as platforms for dialogue and international exchange.

At Académie Zarifa, I serve as a Founding Member and International Ambassador, supporting the Academy’s cultural and artistic activities and contributing to its international visibility and outreach.

I'm a seasoned freelance artist who thrives on harnessing a diverse skill set to transform imaginative concepts into captivating realities. My extensive portfolio boats more then 30 successful projects, reflecting my proficiency in video art, video direction, art direction, character design and fashion design. These skills are not just tools; they are my creative palette, enabling me to create narratives that seamlessly blend the worlds of art and marketing.

I see each project as a canvas and my goal is to paint it with innovation and ingenuity.

My easygoing nature and willingness to take risks infuse my work with a refreshing creativity, allowing me to enhance brand identities and reflect individuality through character design. Moreover, I have a knack for identifying talents in others and nurturing them to their full potential them to their full potential. I find joy in assembling and leading diverse, multi-national teams to achieve optimal outcomes, emphasizing growth and excellence.

Having callobortad with international corporations, I've honde my “campaigner and sensation seeker” personality type into a driving force that infuses each project with unique energy and creativity. I am a Consultant , idea developer and Graphic Designer at Zarifa Arts Academy.

 With years of experience in graphic design and a proven track record of collaborating with major international brands, I bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to any project. My expertise extends beyond graphic design to include strategic consulting for branding and development.

In 2024, I joined Zarifa Arts Academy as an idea developer and graphic designer, aiming to leverage my skills to enhance the academy's growth and innovation.

 Sepehr GHASEMI -ACADEMY ZARIFA- PARIS 

I am a distinguished director, writer, cinematographer, and editor. i best known for directing the feature film "Sangnameh."

 il am directed several notable short films, including "Cotard," "One Take," "Hasil," "Pupa," "Attention," "Hunt," "The Other," and "A Beginning for an End." In addition to his short film work, i have also created 9 long-form documentary stories and over 100 short documentaries.

As a cinematographer, i have been the director of photography for over 70 short films and has worked on feature films such as "Cold Revolt" and "World Opera."

In his prolific career as an editor, i have edited more than 200 short films, feature films, and documentaries. He also serves as the director of the HardaFilm Cinematic Institute.

i have talents extend to the realm of music, where he has been the artistic director for various ethnic music concerts in Iran. i have dedication to education is evident through his teaching roles in cinematography, editing, and directing at more than five educational institutions.

Moreover, i am an impressive portfolio of over 30 registered short film scripts in the Cinema House Bank.

Poorya PARVINI -ZARIFA ACADEMY- PARIS 

Rouya Yousefi holds a Master's degree in Chemistry and is a graduate of the Paris Faculty of Pharmacy. She also completed her acting studies at the Reliance Institute in France, located in Turkey.

Rouya has served as the host of the Iranian Film Festival at the Cinema Charles de Goule in Paris.

I have artistic creativity, idea generation, and the ability to build strong working relationships in the field of art. I am also capable of managing fast-paced, close-knit, and emergency projects.
